چکیده

dered if guidance cue-induced changes in NFPC protein synthesis may play a role here. Interestingly, stimulating cultured growth cones with Sema3A, a repellent molecule expressed in telencephalic regions adjacent to the MOT, elevates NFPC protein twofold within 10 min. Therefore, we now postulate a growth cone turning mechanism involving Sema3A-induced increases in TAF1mediated NFPC activity at the MOT choice point.

20-P003 Cell volume and tissue shape direct cell migration in a skin explant model

The posterior lateral line primordium (pLLp) migrates caudally and periodically deposits neuromasts under the skin in the zebrafish trunk and tail. Each neuromast, formed within the migrating pLLp, has a central atoh1-positive hair cell determined by Notch mediated-lateral inhibition. The generation of new neuromasts and their deposition as the pLLp migrates caudally is coordinated by mutually ...

MiR-6165 Dysregulation in Breast Cancer and Its Effect on Cell Proliferation and Migration

Background: ncRNAs have been identified as oncogenic drivers and tumor suppressors in any type of cancer. Although many classes of ncRNAs have been reported, most studies have been performed on microRNAs (miRNAs). miRNAs can regulate several target genes and affect important processes such as homeostasis, angiogenesis, cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Located in the p75NTR ge...

Developmental Changes of the Notochord and its Inductive Effects on the Adjacent Embryonic Germ Layers with Regard to the Role of Glycoconjugates

Notochord is an axial structure derived of embryonic mesoderm and in addition to structural supporting role in inducing nearby germinal layers, it has a basic role in formation of organs such as vertebral column, axial vessels, neural tube and primitive gut. This organ undergoes essential changes during the development process. First, arises from the primitive node and terms notochordal process...

TGFβ1a regulates zebrafish posterior lateral line formation via Smad5 mediated pathway.

The zebrafish sensory posterior lateral line (pLL) has become an attractive model for studying collective cell migration and cell morphogenesis. Recent studies have indicated that chemokine, Wnt/β-catenin, Fgf, and Delta-Notch signaling pathways participate in regulating pLL development. However, it remains unclear whether TGFβ signaling pathway is involved in pLL development. Here we report a ...
